Practical help for your book
Let’s get it ready for readers.
Choose the help your book needs. I review the files first, then confirm the corrections, deliverables, price and timing with you.
Cover fit & corrections
Adjust your existing cover to the required trim size, bleed and spine width. Correct placement issues so the cover fits the book and the publishing template.
Interior formatting
Bring order to the text block: margins, fonts, spacing, chapter openings, headers, page numbers, image placement and table of contents.
Upload help & troubleshooting
Work through file errors, confusing rejection messages and preview problems. Get help preparing the files and completing the publishing upload.
Publishing file preparation
Prepare or correct the agreed print or digital files from your existing materials, with the dimensions and export settings your publishing service requires.
A final publication check
Check the corrected cover and interior together for layout consistency, page order, missing elements and problems visible in the publishing preview.
An editorial book review
After the repairs, I can read the finished book and write an honest review. We agree on the review’s scope, price, attribution and any permitted public placement before I begin.
An editorial review can be prepared for your website or a publishing platform’s permitted editorial-review section. Amazon offers Editorial Reviews through Author Central in the US; placement is subject to its current requirements. See how review placement works.
A straightforward process
A clear plan before the first fix.
- 01 / SHOW ME THE PROBLEM
Tell me what’s stuck.
Send a description of the issue, the publishing platform and any error message. Let me know your book’s format, page count and deadline.
- 02 / AGREE ON THE WORK
Approve the scope & price.
I confirm what needs doing and the turnaround. The minimum charge is $80. Any higher price is quoted for your approval before I proceed. Pay 50% to begin.
- 03 / RECEIVE YOUR RESCUE
Get your corrected files.
I complete the agreed work and deliver the files or publishing help. Your remaining 50% is due on delivery. Any extra work is discussed and quoted first.

kim@mboox.comA few helpful details.
Can you help if I’m not sure what’s wrong?
Yes. Start with the error message or a description of what looks wrong. I’ll review the issue and confirm the work and price before making the fixes.
Is proofreading or rewriting included?
Interior formatting concerns the layout of your text. Proofreading, copyediting, rewriting or a new cover design would need a separate discussion and quote. An editorial book review is a written assessment of the finished book.
Can the book review appear on Amazon?
Amazon distinguishes editorial reviews from customer reviews. A Book Rescue review is an attributed editorial review, with any permitted publication agreed in advance. Where available, I can help prepare it for an editorial-review section. Public placement depends on the platform’s rules; a paid customer star review is not included.
Read Amazon’s Author Central information and customer review rules.
How fast can my book be ready?
I offer quick turnaround. After I see the files, I’ll confirm a delivery time that fits the actual work. If you have a deadline, include it in your first email.
